Sean was born and bred in Grimsby. He grew up on Wybers Wood Estate, going to Whitgift School, where he took his GCSE's. He went on to gain A-levels at Franklin College and to obtain a first class BSc degree in chemistry from Nottingham University.
After working at Millennium Inorganic chemicals on the Humber Bank, Sean re-trained at Hull University and qualified as a chemistry teacher. Sean taught chemistry at King Edward VI Grammar School in Louth for a further three years before studying dentistry at Leeds University.
He qualified in 2006 with BChD dentistry with distinction in biochemistry. Sean was awarded several accolades including the Restorative (crowns) Dentistry prize and Oral Surgery/Tooth Extraction Prize. He was also recognised in Periodontics (gums) and Prosthetics (dentures).
After qualifying Sean took up vocational Training in Lincoln and developed interest in prevention through behavioural change and periodontics (gum disease)and minimally invasive dentistry.
Sean enjoys all aspects of general dentistry which is where he hopes to pursue his career with a significant commitment to the National Health Service.
Outside of dentistry Sean is a dedicated and devoted father. He enjoys training in karate with his wife and children. He also owns a set of golf clubs and can hit a ball but would not yet describe himself as a golfer!
