Mr Hoyle and Mrs Harris took the practice to this years BDA conference in Liverpool.  The team spent two nights at the Adelphi hotel and three days attending talks and exhibitions at the Echo Arena and Conference Centre.

Mr Hoyle commented, "The conference provided a wide array of excellent and totally relevent lectures, the best of which reinforced my philosophy that removal of tooth structure can and should be kept to a minimum when restoring teeth."

The practice has moved toward a new approach to patient care called minimal intervention, focusing on prevention, patient cooperation and the use of modern restorative metods and materials.

Lisa Stearman our infection control leader said, "Going around the exhibition was fun I got 20 free bags (containing lots of leaflets and some goodies), a good opportunity to meet the suppliers and find out about new products"

Donna took a few of the team into the Liverpool nightlife saying "it was very friendly and lively, we went to a kareoke (didn't sing) although did not get into the main strip as was consious we were on a work event, I was gutted I can't sing when a Louie Walsh head hunter picked me out of the crowd. lol"

The practice has used the event as a springboard to completing the BDA good practice scheme, which recognises practises that adhere to there guidance.
